# The indicators

Each Domain has 11 Indicators. The labels under an Indicator show:

## Media

This Indicator does not cover Chinese state media that is shared indirectly by domestic media outlets (content-sharing agreements). That phenomenon is covered in Media Indicator #7.</span>

  6. In my country, there are local media outlets wholly or majority owned by PRC-connected individuals or entities, or media owners who have significant business interests in the PRC.

Therefore, press statements from PRC governmental agencies do not fall into the category of content provided by PRC state-fund media.</span>

  8. In my country, local newspapers, online news websites, content farms, or social media platforms receive economic support by regularly featuring advertisements from PRC-connected entities.
