# About these results and corrections

> What the China Index results are, and how to ask for a correction or send a reply.

## About these results

The China Index results are assessments made by local experts and Regional Partners under the China Index methodology, based on the sources cited for each answer. They reflect the evidence available when each edition was prepared and are published in the public interest.

They are not statements by Doublethink Lab that every fact is true, and they should be read with the cited sources and the methodology.

## Corrections and replies

If you believe a result contains a factual error, or you are named and wish to respond, write to [staff@doublethinklab.org](mailto:staff@doublethinklab.org) with:

* the edition, country and Indicator;
* what you believe is wrong, or your response;
* the evidence you rely on.

We review every request under our corrections procedure.

| We find an error | We correct it and note the correction and its date. |
| We do not find an error | We may publish a summary of your response alongside the result. |
